Intertops Sports Review
Intertops are a top sportsbook, taking customers from all over the world including the United States (see excluded States and countries listed later).
Your first question might be why are they called Intertops? Well, we know the management team there quite well and the answer that we got when we asked was “nobody knows!”
Irrespective of this minor mystery regarding the Intertops name, they have an excellent long-term record in the industry and are widely credited with taking the first ever online sports bet back in 1996.
They have in the region of 500 000 satisfied customers in 180 countries and pay out around $120 000 000 in winnings annually.
The latest technology and platforms are used to ensure a positive and highly secure customer experience. Gaming / casino software is audited on a monthly basis by independent chartered accountants who notarize the payout ratio.
Customer information is handled in strict confidence and is under no circumstances given to third parties.
Our overall review is as follows:
Excluded Territories: At the time of writing, Intertops do not accept customers from the following territories:
US States: Maryland, Washington, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, Louisiana.
(The betting landscape is always changing, so it’s always a good idea to contact a sportsbook before registering to see).
Plenty of action to get stuck into at Intertops, with over 4500 betting markets daily. The big markets are NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB (+ the college equivalents where applicable). Intertops are also big on global soccer. You can also bet on all other major sports like tennis, golf, boxing / UFC and some not so well known markets such as; Biathlon, Alpine Skiing, Handball, Politics, Entertainment and the Stock Market!
Lines are fairly standard across the board. However, we have picked up some really good value on occasion. Currently we have two futures bets still open, in the English Premiership (soccer) and Rugby World Cup. We’ve highlighted these in our quick video later on.
Limits: Intertops Sports is really geared to recreational bettors more than high stakes players. Each market will vary with regards to betting limits. Typically, however, we’ve found the range is $1000 – $4000, depending on the sport, the market, and the line. Futures markets, which offer bigger odds, tend to have lower limits than the above. Either way, the stake limits are generally more than enough for the average player.
Intertops are very strong on promotions for new and existing players. The sign up amounts aren’t as big as some sportsbooks but Intertops are always ‘topping you up’ with offers throughout the year. There is always a standard ‘sign up bonus’ and all customers (certainly US players) have a shot at winning anything from Super Bowl, Final Four (Basketball) or NHL Stanley Cup packages, to earning large free bets and bonuses on big parlay wins.
Deposits: Visa / MC / Amex, Bitcoin, Sofort, Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz, Bank Wire, Money Global, Sepa, Paysafe
Withdrawals: Bitcoin, Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz, Check, Bank Wire, Sepa
Payouts are processed in a timely manner, certainly from Europe. Not all US options have been tested except Bitcoin which is probably the fastest in / out method and also free.
We’ve always been pleased with the service that we’ve received from Intertops. We tend to use the Live Chat option for any queries. Staff usually answer very promptly and they’re available 24/7.
Intertops Sports also offer two casinos, Red Casino and Casino Classic as well as one Poker Room, which sees a fair bit of action.
Live Betting is also offered on all major sports.
How has your experience been with Intertops or other US facing sportsbooks?
